Chiropractor Canton GA Dr Glenn Robinson

Dr. Glenn Robinson

Clinical Supervisor

Dr. Glenn Robinson was born in Cairo, Ga, and graduated from Cairo High School. He attended and graduated from Valdosta State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. He then moved back to Cairo and worked in the Grady County School System as a Physical Education Teacher and he coached Football, Basketball and Baseball until an automobile accident introduced him to Chiropractic care.

Dr. Robinson loved this holistic approach to health care and started asking questions about the Chiropractic profession. He decided to change careers and matriculated to and graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Ga, as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

He returned to Cairo and was in private practice for 26 years before selling his practice and moved to Canton Ga. During his 26 years as a Holistic Health Care provider, he was introduced to various types of alternative treatments for many different conditions people are suffering from today.

During 2010, Dr. Robinson noticed that many of his patients presented in his office with Neuropathy symptoms. He decided to investigate the best way to help these patients. So, in 2011 he trained with a group out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He bought the equipment necessary to perform these treatments and soon began making a positive difference in the lives of his Neuropathy patients. Since then, this type of treatment has progressed and Dr. Robinson is excited to bring this technology to the Canton area.

Dr. Robinson has helped many patients get relief from Neuropathy symptoms and has witnessed life changing results.

Dr. Robinson says his Greatest pleasure in practice is to;

  1. hear patients say that their pain has diminished or is gone,
  2. watch patients get their Freedom to move restored,
  3. have patients say that they “Literally just Got Their LIFE BACK.”

Dr. Robinson loves taking the non-drug approach to better health. He also agrees that drugs have their place in health care but are too often over-utilized and sometimes do more harm than good.

Dr. Robinson is a Board Certified and Licensed Chiropractor in the State of Georgia, specializing in the treatment of the Neuro-Muscular-Skeletal systems. He is a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association. He is also a past President of the GCA in (2005) for District 5. Dr. Robinson is also an honorary member of the Cairo Rotary Club where he is a past President in (2007) and a Paul Harris Fellow.

Dr. Robinson enjoys his family, playing drums, hunting, fishing, camping, cycling and spending time at the beach.

Is Medication the Answer for Neuropathy?

Medication can be very helpful for a number of things. The problem is that medication is not generally designed to correct the cause of the problem. Common sense will tell you that if your treatment is not designed to correct the true problem, you’re likely to have disappointing results. In some cases medication can actually cause new problems to develop in the body because of the many side effects. We know so much about the human body today. It’s time to move beyond treatments that mask your symptoms.

Is Neuropathy Stealing Your Happiness?

Simple things like driving your car or taking a walk with a loved one can become painful and difficult tasks.  When you start to lose the simple things in your life it can truly steal your happiness away. Many of the patients we meet are in a state of slight depression, because they are not able to do the things they love. If you’re in this position take action. This is a problem that you can begin to change today.

Excellent Results: FDA Cleared Neuropathy Treatment

Our new Peripheral Neuropathy treatments succeed because we attack the problem at its source. Our combination of breakthrough technology along with advanced treatments provides your body with everything it needs to heal the damaged nerves. The majority of patients notice an improvement in their symptoms within their first few treatments. Our combination of treatments helps to restore, stabilize, and rebuild the nerves in your extremities. In many cases the results also go beyond neuropathy and have been helpful for conditions such as chronic pain, arthritis, and MS.

When you’re deciding where you are going to go for treatment, it’s important to think about one thing. Is the treatment you’re receiving going to correct the cause of the problem, or is it designed to cover your symptoms? Generally, symptoms of peripheral neuropathy in an effected area include:

  • Numbness/Tingling
  • Burning Pain
  • Unusual and/or loss of sensations
  • Muscle weakness
  • Deep Stabbing Pain
  • Balance Problems

Another common cause of nerve damage is auto-immunity.

Auto-immune diseases are diseases where the immune system mistakenly starts to attack the body. That’s right! Many times the immune system is actually killing the nerves of peripheral neuropathy sufferers. This is why thorough testing is vitally important to helping peripheral neuropathy.

Yes! It is well established in the scientific literature that peripheral nerves can and do heal. The key issue is that not only do we need to get the nerves healing but we have to stop whatever is causing the nerve damage in the first place. When the underlying cause of the neuropathy is discovered and proper support for the nerves are provided it optimizes the ability for the nerves to heal!

In order to effectively heal nerve damage, three factors must be determined:

  • What is the underlying cause of the nerve damage?
  • How severe is the nerve damage?
  • What types of nerve fibers are damaged?

You have sensory nerves (both small fiber nerves and large diameter nerves) and motor nerves (that control movement of your muscles) NOTE: If there is muscle weakness from neuropathy for greater than two years the damage to the muscles will probably be permanent!

How much treatment will the nerves require to heal?

This will be dependent on the degree of nerve damage and what types of fibers are damaged.

The treatment we provide has four main goals…

  1. Optimize the environment within the body for nerve healing.
  2. Increase blood flow to the nerves.
  3. Stimulate the nerves that are damaged (small fiber, large diameter, or motor nerves) to reduce pain and improve balance.
  4. Decrease brain-based pain.

Our exclusive treatment system increases blood flow to the nerves in the feet and/or hands, which helps to rejuvenate nerves naturally and has returned many of our patient’s feet and/or hands to normal (see testimonials below). No surgery. No addictive medications.

Our proprietary and comprehensive treatment program utilizes up to 8 different state-of-the-art technologies and is unlike any treatment program you may have already experienced.
